Fred and Carol Cromer served in Zambia where they worked in theological education at Pilgrim Wesleyan Bible College.  Fred also worked with the national Church and missionaries as the Zambian mission field director.  Carol worked with literacy and evangelism ministry.

The son of missionary parents, Fred was born in Eritrea, East Africa.  He earned a B.A. degree in religion from Bartlesville Wesleyan College (now Oklahoma Wesleyan University) and a M.Div. degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary.

Carol was born to Christian parents in Kansas and raised in Oklahoma.  She earned a B.S. degree in Christian education from Bartlesville Wesleyan College.

God called Fred to missions while he was in college at Bartlesville.  Fred and Carol pastored an inner-city church in Kansas City for ten years prior to leaving for Zambia in 1991.

The Cromers’ goal is to pour their lives into reliable people who can train others to follow Christ. They plan to return to Southern Africa in August to continue training leaders for the African Church. They will live in Swaziland and work at Emmanuel Wesleyan Bible College. They will also work with an extension program, training the pastors in the Southern African region of the Wesleyan Church. Finally they will help train leaders in the Wesleyan Church across Southern Africa in countries such as Malawi, Uganda, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia.

Fred and Carol have four children:  Matthew (’81), Nathan (’83), Jonathan (’87), and Hannah (’89).
