  • New Bethany Ministries
New Bethany Ministries is an interfaith, non-profit organization with its main location in Southside Bethlehem. With 13 full-time and 5 part-time staff members, New Bethany Ministries mobilizes community partnerships, relies heavily on volunteers, and practices sound fiscal stewardship to impact almost 7,000 people annually. Our organization is home to many in need throughout the Valley, and our additional sites in Bethlehem, Allentown, and Coplay allow our organization to magnify its Valley-wide impact. Our basic services provide food support, hygiene support, wellness programming, transitional housing, permanent affordable housing, and financial case management to individuals and families who are working toward self-sufficiency. Those we serve represent a cross-section of the local population as our services are utilized by many people for many diverse reasons. In fact, within the past few years New Bethany has experienced an increase in working poor individuals and families requiring our services, as well as an increase in the number of vulnerable populations we serve including children and the elderly.New Bethany Ministries is home to many in the Valley, and in turn we maintain a safe, warm, respectful, and compassionate organization. We realize that often those we serve lack a support network, and therefore New Bethany Ministries serves as a community family for those who may feel invisible.
