Dwight Mikesell obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministries from United Wesleyan College, Allentown, PA and a Master’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, where he did his Master’s thesis on Compassion Ministries. He has served as pastor of churches in Lititz, PA; Pine Grove, PA; Atlanta GA: Salisbury, MD; Bridgeton, NJ; and presently at Bethlehem, PA
Among the areas of emphasis in his ministry are prayer, expository preaching, outreach, compassion ministries, and responsible financial management. He has written for the Wesleyan Publishing House and other Wesleyan publications. Currently he is a member of the Board of Trustees of Kingswood University in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the District Board of Ministerial Development for the Northeast District of The Wesleyan Church.
He and Jane have been married and in pastoral ministry since 1974. They have 2 grown sons who are both active in ministry of their churches. They have three grandchildren, Colton, Carly, and Camryn, who are the joy of their life.
